Selling products online

What kind of products can I sell on my website?

You can sell physical products or digital products. Our customers are currently selling handmade clothing, jewelry, eye glasses, pet tags as well as ebooks, audio downloads, video downloads, and everything in between!

What happens when I make a sale?

You can set your email settings so that you'll receive an email notification containing the date and time of the sale, as well as the items purchased and total sale amount. You can view more order details by logging into your website dashboard. If you are selling physical products, simply package up the order, send it to the shipping address provided, then mark the order as "Shipped" within your website dashboard to keep track of things.

Can I accept credit card payments on my website?

What is a "payment processor"?

Tic Tac Websites does not handle money but we do integrate really nicely with several payment processors that do. What methods of payment can I accept on my website?

This depends on the payment processor you choose. With PayPal, you can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and payments from other PayPal accounts. You can also offer your customers the option to phone or fax in orders, or mail money orders and checks.

Can I accept manual payments?

Yes. When you activate your online payments, you'll have the option of collecting your customer's payment and order information to process your orders manually through your own credit card terminal, or by logging into a virtual terminal like PayPal.

What currencies can I accept?

This depends on the payment processor you choose. If you choose PayPal, you can accept payments in US dollars, Canadian dollars and Euros.
